Caroline Spelman

General

The Parliamentary week runs from Monday to Thursday. Fridays are usually reserved for Private Members Bills. This means that on a typical Friday, Caroline spends the whole day in the constituency, visiting schools, charities, businesses, meeting constituents and holding surgeries. On Saturdays there are sometimes surgeries in the morning in Chelmsley Wood and Castle Bromwich and other functions around the constituency.

In the constituency, there are two charities in particular which Caroline is involved in:

The Welcome Trust

The Make a Better Life Trust (MABL)
